04 / Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which data sources can be connected?

Most databases, spreadsheets and cloud applications with an API, advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta, and Google Analytics. Systems without an API can be included through scheduled file exports.

Which BI tools are used?

Power BI, Looker Studio and Tableau for dashboards, with SQL databases or BigQuery underneath where a data store is needed. The tool is chosen to fit the licences and systems already in use.

Can existing Excel reports be turned into dashboards?

Yes. Existing spreadsheets are the usual starting point, because they show which figures are already reviewed and how they are calculated.

What does ad-spend analysis cover?

Spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and cost per result for each campaign and channel, combined with website and sales data where it is available.
